Every One must perform Islamic Dua for Kids. Being muslim parent, its our responsibility to teach our children about Islam. Grooming our children spiritually is as much important as is to groom them worldly. The way we start teaching our children “A for Apple” and “twinkle twinkle” since they start speaking is ironic because we are never as much worried to teach them any small surah or the first kalimah. And sadly this attitude amplifies generation wise. If you haven’t taught your child basics of islam, then do not expect him to be religious towards his child in future. Example is clear, how much concerned are you in teaching Quran to your kid as compared to your parents teaching Quran to you! I remember, we (me and my siblings) were daily woken up in the morning and the first thing we did before getting ready for school was recitation of Quran, whether a few verses. In the night, my mother used to revise all of us different short duas for children. But today, I feel i often forget this practice on my children. Ironically we never forget scolding our child on bad grades in a school test. However busy we are, we make sure our kids have completed their school home work.
Sisters ! (and brothers too) its your job to teach your kid islam. If you can not do this by your self, hire a tutor for Quran and islamic teaching just as you hire a tutor for schooling of your kid. Pay attention towards your kids. A very easy and good practice could be making your kid memorize little duas for children. There are many short duas of day and night which can be easily memorized to children. Some of the easy Duas for children are mentioned below and if you want your kid to memorize these duas,
Dua when you wake up:
الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi ‘ahyana ba’da ma ‘amatana wa’ilayhin-nushur
Praise is to Allah Who gives us life after He has caused us to die and to Him is the return. Dua Before Sleeping:
اللهم باسمك أموت وأحيا
Allahumma bismika amutu wa ahya
O Allah, with your name I die and I live.

Dua Before going to washroom:

Dua Before Leaving the House: بِسْمِ اللهِ ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ bismillaah, tawakkaltu ‛alal-laah, wa laa ḥawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaah In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah and there is neither might nor power except with Allah Dua for Exams and studies: There are various duas for exams and studies. The best option is to memorize your child surah Alm Nashrah, and make him/her recite often. Surah Alm Nashrah and Verse 25-28 of surah Taha both are best for school going kids. These ayaat from surah taha can also be useful for children which are non fluent in speech or have stammering issue. رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي O my Lord ! open my chest for me and make my task easy for me and make loose the knot from my tongue so that they understand my speech” Surah Taaha verse 25-28
